NME Analysis

The target audience for this issue of "NME" magazine, is for people who not only like indie music but also like Oasis as this issue is mostly about the fight between Noel and Liam Gallagher and why the well known band Oasis split up in August 2009 just before they were due to go on stage at a Summer Festival.
I think the age range for this magazine is teenagers, it may be aimed at both genders depending on who is on the front of the cover, for this magazine I think the main target audience is people who were Oasis fans and want to know why they decided to split, from the image on the from it looks contriverisal due to the fact they both have a serious look on their faces.
The three main colours of this magazine are Red, Black and White. The colour red denotes that there is a sense of danger and urgency about the magazine and also may denote a sense of blood.
On the cover there is other stories which are in the magazine and they are in the same colour scheme as the rest of the magazine. This links to the colours of clothes which Noel and Liam Gallagher are wearing. There is one made headline "Rock's Messiest Bust Ups" and many other kickers about what is in the magazine, this gives the audience an insight on what is also in the magazine and persuades them to buy it.
